Leader of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Delta State, Leader Fred Adujua has advised Nigerian politicians to stop amassing wealth for themselves at the expense of the masses.
Ajudua who said so during his visit to State Commissioner of Lands and Surveys Kate Onianwa urged politicians to start thinking about adding value to the lives of the masses rather than s’ enrich at the expense of the people.
He said; “life is good when society gets better for the privileges we have”, adding that; âWe all have values ââwithin us. I therefore encourage the leaders to do their best to alleviate the suffering of the people.
âIf the money barons of this country are wise, they will give up the temptation to keep all their money for themselves. I can’t imagine keeping all the money I have made in life to myself.
âOne thing I took away from my journey through life is that eternal satisfaction comes from helping others become relevant. It is a great joy to see the success of your own products, not directly through your own activities, but through the efforts of those you have helped to become relevant â.
Speaking further, he said; “Let me end this opportunity to appreciate the Governor of Delta State and the new president of this 2023 country, Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa (he is the next president of this country) for putting a square peg in a square hole. Competence matters. Competence is life, mediocrity is evil â.
In her remarks, Kate Onianwa vowed to make the Deltans proud by using the opportunity given to her as a commissioner in the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
