Pakistani politician breaks down in tears after intimate video with his wife goes viral

A Pakistani politician broke down in tears on Sunday after an intimate video featuring him and his wife went viral. The case came to the fore after politician Azam Swati, Senator of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) made this startling claim in front of the media.

Speaking to the media, Swati claimed his wife received the objectionable video on her phone. Some defendants sent him the video showing the couple in a compromising position.

Addressing a press conference, an emotional Swati broke down in tears as he told reporters about his ordeal and said his wife informed him last night that someone had sent him a video from an unknown number.

He revealed that the video was made when he and his wife visited Quetta.

Azam Khan Swati, 75, is a loyalist of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and leader of the Tehreek-e-Insaf party. He was arrested last month by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) but was later released on bail for a tweet criticizing General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

After his release on bail, he alleged that he was robbed, ridiculed and tortured in detention.

“Because the daughters and granddaughters of my country are listening, I can’t say more,” the senator said, bursting into tears. He blamed elements within the establishment for his troubles.

However, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) said the video was fake and photoshopped.

“After the senator’s press, a proper investigation is needed and he should formally file a request,” he said in a statement.

On the other hand, former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan condemned Swati’s alleged torture through a tweet.

Taking to his Twitter account, Khan, who was recently injured in a shooting incident, wrote: “I would like to apologize on behalf of Pakistan to Ms. Swati, a very private, non-public tahajut guzaar lady , for the pain, the anguish and the feeling of the humiliation that she must undergo.”
