Elections in Louisiana use the majority voting system. All candidates compete in the same primary and a candidate can win the election by obtaining more than 50% of the votes. If no candidate does, the top two recipients of primary votes advance to the general election, regardless of their party affiliation.

The primary will be on November 8, 2022. The general election will be on December 10, 2022. General election candidates will be added here after the primary.
