SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Village Democratic Committee is delighted to announce their mayoral and trustee candidates. Candidate for mayor, Warren Kelly and candidates for the board of directors, Kelly Ziegler and Philip Davila bring experience, energy and enthusiasm. They commit to working together and with existing members of the Village Council.
The Village of Silver Creek has many important issues to resolve, including the revitalization of our village.
Kelly, who has been a former member of the village board for six years and is a long-time resident. He brings experience and passion to the post of mayor. Kelly has 29 years of architectural, engineering, accounting and administrative experience as a Chautauqua County Engineer within the Chautauqua County Public Facilities Department. He is looking to start from scratch, clean up the village and already identify empty storefronts to attract new business opportunities to many neighboring counties and towns looking to expand.
Ziegler, a director candidate, is a family advocate for Chautauqua County and a tireless volunteer. She supports Kelly’s agenda and is ready to roll up her sleeves and shake things up.
Davila, a board candidate, brings a fresh and young perspective to the village board. He worked as a volunteer, cleaning up places like New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and local homeless shelters. Phil has established roots in the village of Silver Creek and believes in and supports Kelly’s program.
The Democratic Village Committee thanks all these candidates for their willingness to serve. All voters are encouraged to come out and get to know the candidates as they walk through the village and neighborhoods and post on social media information about their joint work to revitalize the village of Silver Creek.
